Pros

Market still thinks we're a point-solution whereas the product has really expanded to cover a wider portfolio of products & tools. Compensation & benefits is still a bit better than the competition in the market. Worth sticking around for the good people (non-leaders) in Solution Engg, Demand Gen, Channels team etc.

Cons

1. You are but a number in their books; no real value attached to the human. Every sales leader is trying to save their own back & shift blame to other parties (some leaders are only visible talking on stage, not actually LEADING the sales team). If you perform too poorly, you're pushed out. If you perform too well, still you might get pushed out. 2. HR will still try to lowball you when joining, so negotiate/push back really hard. 3. Truly nonsensical tactics used by leadership to push out people every year. They tell you to run some sales plays; proceeds to eventually fire you for following it 🤡
