Pros

Casual dress, free unhealthy snacks and free cheap coffee. Probably the best thing about Zazzle is the day you get laid off or find something better (not very difficult, hence the high turnover)

Cons

Where to start? Big boss in Cork prides Zazzle as a company with a different twist. AWESOME! Zazzle is cool and employ cool people. Yeah, sure, if that was so she wouldn't be there for starters. It used to be an OK place to work as far as call-centers go. After much re-structuring and cruel unnecessary micromanagement it became an absolute nightmare - especially if you consider the ridiculous amount of money they are paying their employees (the bare minimum). People are constantly leaving and one doesn't need to wonder why, as you get more money working in any other call-center in Cork, for instance (also in some corner shops or what have you). No professional should be treated as they have been treated here. It is no secret that HR considers everyone in the office to be easily replaceable and they will make sure you know that one way or another. Run away, unless you fancy being overworked and underpaid.

Pros

The people you meet in this company make all the difference.

Cons

First and foremost, Zazzle is a company that's all about people...our employees, our customers, our sellers and our partners.' - This is the first thing Zazzle describe themselves as and this is the first of many false claims this company makes. Zazzle hire well educated, capable people with college & master degrees but insist on treating staff like they are at school. 'Growth' is one of the many vague buzz words thrown around at Zazzle. The reality is that Zazzle aren't back-filling the spaces of the many talented people who got fed up and left. Extra tasks are used as a way to retain staff, when in fact no extra time or, more importantly pay is given for these. On more than one occasion Zazzle were haemorrhaging staff and did nothing to prevent this. Instead management told staff they were, I quote 'all replaceable'. Feedback is encouraged but from personal experience it was either held against you or ignored ( the rare time it would be implemented, months later and management would claim it was their idea). Communication is the biggest issue for Zazzle. Changes that have a direct impact on the work life of staff were made on a regular basis and often weren't communicated in an effective way. Most changes weren't consistent or contextualised. The company suffers from a lack of understanding of it's own technology and operating systems to the point that its own management are unable to train staff effectively. CS agents are left to fend for themselves because most of their ill-equipped managers don't actually know how to answer their questions. Overall, working at Zazzle was a tremendously underwhelming experience.

Pros

Free tea coffee breakfast bars fruit water. Staff are great and very friendly. Great location but there is no parking.

Cons

Management have zero respect for staff even though most staff are more qualified. No gratitude Underpay staff with no incentives They promise progression to keep staff happy but there are no real opportunities Post fake reviews on glassdoor to boost ratings. Treat staff like children. They always find an excuse not to reward staff No communication Do not like feedback. They call themselves a startup to keep pay low but they are open eleven years.
