I worked at Yahoo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I learnt a lot about myself and many new skills and I really felt my opinion was valued and that my manager was taking me on account. It was a beautiful experience to work in such a good environment. The atmosphere was great and the benefits of the company were very good too (food, snacks, laptop, phone, lots of fun events during the year, social club..).

    Cons

No any con that come to mind now. The company belongs to Verizon now so I guess it might have changed a lot.

I worked at Yahoo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great benefits, Food was great.

    Cons

There was no progression, only politics on the EMEA office. Since the merge to Verizon was coming, the mood in the company wasn't great.

    Pros

Good benefits and bonuses, staff nights and free food. Their technology is all up to date and modern, and there is lots of open space.

    Cons

No growth progression. No ability to get promoted. Blatant nepotism in at quarterly awards. Lack of accountability from those in managerial positions. No reprimand for under-performers or those not pulling their weight. Can feel like there is no support structure.
