Pros

Some national contracts treat you like a person, depending on the account and relationships with Vergo. Level 2 technician qualification, just get it and move on if you desperat for a career

Cons

Shocking management support and complete disregard for health, safety, and basic human dignity. I declared a serious medical condition (total colectomy/large bowel removal) when I joined. Because it is an invisible illness, my manager would constantly "forget" about it reach understanle. When I do he will get funny or rude when reminded, as need to take time off.. treating it like a joke because I "didn't look disabled."Due to the surgery, my small intestine could lock up, causing severe pain. When I had to take two days off over separate months due to agonizing physical pain, my manager told me it was "happening far too much."When I needed time off for a mandatory annual hospital colonoscopy, he completely dismissed the intense medical prep required and told me to stay on the road because "there are toilets everywhere" an impossible and unsafe demand for a field-based pest controller. Management also pressured staff to breach safety protocols. I was asked to use my own personal night vision gear for a rat job and to proceed with an air rifle task despite never having passed the company's mandatory air rifle safety course.

Pros

Used to be a lot of good pros listed down pervious technician but none of that is here anymore.

Cons

-Very heavy micromanagement from management. - Leadership often lacks understanding of the realities of field work and logistics. - Decisions are sometimes made without considering how they affect technicians in the field. - Increased monitoring (including camera checks) has created a lack of trust between management and staff. - At times employees feel pressured to cut corners, but when issues arise the responsibility is pushed back onto field staff. - Concerns about compliance or legality are sometimes handled through phone calls rather than documented communication, which can make it difficult to maintain clear records.

Pros

Some great people and supportive team.

Cons

Upper management have not got a clue and this business has slowly been ran into the ground over the last 8 years. People have poured their hearts into this company to have it thrown back in their faces and jobs put at risk on numerous occasions. Such an unstable working environment. Would be surprised if the business existed in a years time.
