Pros

High standards, accountability and communication. Many companies purport to align with 'values'. TryHackMe. Does. In a space where dynamism key, TryHackMe's agility at both a Macro and Departmental level is exceptionally exciting AND motivating. The culture, support networks and efficacy are unmatched for a remote working environment. People get **** done. Haven't met a single bad person. Learnt so much.

Cons

If you're not willing to take risks, you'll never see how far you can go. TryHackMe is what you make of it. The only true con is perhaps the remote working - but this is weighted much more towards 'pro' than 'con'.

Thank you for sharing this. On a forum generally only used for negative comments (nature of the beast!) we really appreciate hearing the positives. We’re proud that our values show up in day-to-day work, not just on paper, and it’s great to hear the pace, accountability and support networks are landing well for you. The get sh*t done mentality is one of the reasons I personally enjoy working here - no red tape, just results. TryHackMe rewards ownership and calculated risk-taking, that scrappiness is a part of our DNA, and we’ll keep focusing on hiring great people and maintaining the standards that make the culture what it is. Thanks for being a part of it! Excited to see what 2026 brings!

Good benefits and opportunities to grow

Pros

It’s been a really fulfilling experience working here, especially getting to work closely with one of the co-founders. People are genuinely helpful and proactive, which makes it easy to get things done. The benefits are good, and even though it’s fully remote, they make the effort to bring everyone together with an annual retreat. There’s also always space to grow and learn new things, which I really appreciate.

Cons

Sometimes things could use a bit more structure.

Thanks so much for the review. Really happy to hear you are fulfilled and growing. We are working towards more structure where it is needed as we are always improving, but also do pride ourselves on taking an agile and scrappy approach where it is needed - it is a delicate balance! Please do give any feedback you can to Martina, Head of Ops, so that she can add your suggestions to her roadmap.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this. It’s great to hear you’re enjoying the pace, people, and potential at TryHackMe. The energy that comes with being a high-growth, bootstrapped start-up isn’t for everyone, as you say, but it’s exactly what drives our innovation and success. Thanks for being part of the journey and helping us keep that momentum going!
