Arrogant CEO
They may lay you off after you asking to go to the hospital and denying your rights. They’ll drag you out of your home even if you’re severely injured to a café near your house to surprise you with 2 more colleagues coming after sitting with your manager to kick you out of the company. Then go to the hospital and get certified you couldn’t walk.
That’s how they do things at The Hotels Network.
Great project. Very well-defined product that makes it easy to focus in. Clear objectives and milestones. Smart and successful business model. Wonderful, competent teammates. Nice conditions. Approachable CEO.
Cons
Management is a bit tricky, ranging from the plain incompetent to corporate sharks. Sharks bite when they are hungry and incompetents tend to blame their shortcomings on their teams. There are some good ones too, so how dangerous the place is depends on which department you are and who is your boss.
There is also an over-dose of internal propaganda that sometimes makes you frown, especially when it comes coupled with an obvious lack of transparency.
