Kept informed about the company's developments.

Cons

Didn't regard finance important to the business. Senior management arrogant and never listened to advice on cash management. Staff turnover was extremely high, not necessarily due to start up, but due to poor relations between management and staff. Favouritism a big part of the company's problem.

Pros

Lots of learning on the job because there was no other choice! Great people (while they are there).

Cons

Poor management, poor salaries, personal rather than professional reasons for promotion, too much trust and power in the wrong hands, poor work/life balance, awful share option scheme (with pressure to sign without reading properly). False promises, constant changing focus, people fired without warning.
