Pros

A fast growing company, with some great people to work with. Varied and interesting workload which doesn’t go unrecognised, and the customer list is impressive. It’s a very exciting time to work here and i’m looking forward to what’s to come!

Cons

There’s nothing that I can think of.

Pros

I have just completed my first year in the business and the experience has been great. The company is growing rapidly and there are lots of opportunities to develop and challenge yourself. My experience has been really positive. The culture is great, and the people I work with across different business areas are always willing to support. The company is remote first, but as a team and business, there is lots of collaboration and we meet once a month at the office in Manchester, which works really well to spend time with colleagues. The software solves real world problems in facilities management and is constantly developing to improve how our clients maintain their assets. The client list is impressive which gives the opportunity to work with some amazing companies. It is an exciting time to be part of the business, and I would highly recommend SFG20 to anyone interested in a career in SaaS.

Cons

Remote first business which is ideal for me, but if you prefer an office based company, may not be for you.

Pros

SFG20 has a genuinely strong product with a respected market reputation and loyal customer base. Some talented and hardworking people across the business who care deeply about customers and want the company to succeed. Exposure to large enterprise clients and opportunities to work with well-known brands. Good potential in the market if the business was better structured and led.

Cons

Significant disconnect between senior leadership messaging and day-to-day reality. Frequent changes in direction, roles and priorities with little clarity or consistency. Employees expected to deliver against shifting expectations without adequate onboarding, support or realistic timeframes. Lack of communication and structured management processes, particularly around performance management and employee development. Culture appears to have deteriorated, with short-term pressure and optics taking priority over people, collaboration and long-term growth. Concerns are often only raised retrospectively rather than through proactive coaching or leadership. Decision-making can feel reactive and inconsistent depending on who is involved. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I could not recommend this company as an employer. The lack of structure, consistency and meaningful employee support made it an extremely difficult environment to succeed in.
