Pros

- Remote-first (my favourite perk: flexibility and possibility of working from anywhere) + co-working office spaces can be expensed individually under certain requirements. - Good Compensation (not by total sum compared to Google, Pinterest, Meta, Microsoft etc) but if seen in overall context, responsibilities, work/life balance and career opportunities definitely something I am very happy with! - Great colleagues: very genuine and authentic. - No politics: more of an introverted than extroverted people dynamic, which is nice for a change. - Responsibilities are given early on: good career development opportunities when having reasonably proofed that you have the skills and expertise it takes. - One of the oldest start ups in the Silicon Valley but there has been constant growth under the umbrella of sustainable development (positive outlook). - Sustainable development is genuine and also means great Work-Life Balance. - Focus is not solely on revenue (engineering focus). Summary: A good and healthy company where I will stay for a while. Good employer and company branding compared to other competitors in the industry. Also do not take the previous high turnover comments too serious (temporary event). Turnover seems normal for this industry plus Quora is hiring excessively due to growth.

Cons

Typical issues every company of the size faces: - The company size is still quite small so some technical tools are not as mature as of competitors. - Communication between departments needs improvement therefore needs some initiative - Natural challenge of a remote company. - Metrics driven: Agree with reviews beforehand. Depends on how you see it but I like it because it means you cannot just make stuff up.
