Pros

I have worked for PDI for 2 years and I have been so happy. I really value flexibility with my schedule being a mom of 3. My boss is always willing to help me out when I need it, and she is great at communicating to the team when we have questions or there is a new process being implemented. I enjoy working independently but at the same time I am apart of a great team that works together. This is the first time I have ever done mobile x-ray, and my patients are always very appreciative that I came to them instead of them having to travel to the hospital. I really appreciate that they offer their employees a roth 401-k. If you are looking for a job where your boss appreciates your hard work then I highly recommend you applying to be apart of the PDI team!

Cons

I hope for a better PTO accrual.

Pros

I love being able to be on my own in my own space everyday. Being outside and traveling to different facilities everyday is one of my favorite parts.

Cons

A lot of driving and lugging equipment. Very little PTO/Sick time offered

Pros

You can enjoy the weather when it’s nice outside since you are working on the road.

Cons

The benefits are some of the worst I’ve ever seen at ANY job. 1.5 hours of PTO every 2 weeks … VERY expensive insurance and they barely cover anything As the healthcare field is in high demand every place offers incentives and bonus’ for hours worked .. they RARELY give that, if at all. There is no weekend or evening premium, it’s the same rate. The patients are in terrible conditions and difficult to Xray. The nursing homes are filthy and the staff are NEVER willing to help you to move or position patients. The X-rays put in are not even needed half the time and they are not monitored from what they order. There are no safety mechanisms put into place to prevent workers from hurting themselves. Upper management does not make attempts to ensure the happiness of their employees . The job is very hard work and we are under-appreciated Micromanaged
