Pros

Retail staff members are usually cool.

Cons

A person who sexually harassed myself and several other women (documented with HR!!) was just promoted to middle management. All upper and middle management have exhibited sexism towards women, sexual harassment isn’t taken seriously. Don’t expect to move past a lead position if you’re BIPOC or LGBTQA+. Management is 100% profit driven and have no regard for the safety or comfort of their employees. Recently a customer used a homophobic slur against an employee on the showroom floor and management refused to 86 him. A few months ago, a budtender refused service to a customer because he wasn’t wearing a mask and he pushed his way behind the counter and took what he wanted. He left cash on the counter so management refused to 86 him and he still shops in our stores to this day. People are only promoted past store level if they are friends with owners/ upper management. Any complaint leveled against the company sends you straight to the “do not promote” list for good. We were forced to work during the ice storms and fires. Several stores were held up at gunpoint and employees were asked to stay and finish their shifts after the fact. We had to literally grovel and beg to get security guards, and only select shops received temporary guards. The company turns huge profits and are only concerned with opening new stores instead of providing a living wage for their laborers. I’ve worked incredibly hard for over two years for a measly $16.75 an hour. Not a great job if you would like to maintain a shred of self respect.

Pros

None. We shouldn’t be giving this corporation credit for the individuals it’s taking advantage of.

Cons

DO NOT WORK FOR OR PURCHASE FROM THEM! They’re losing staff left and right because the owners and their buddies are too concerned with bullying their employees into submission. I worked for this company 10 months. I have never left a job in under a year, but this CORPORATION deserves to go under. And you’re not fooling anyone by having corporates cronies flood these reviews. I genuinely hope that everyone in power at this company loses their job, so someone can come in and make it right for the backbone, which is your BUDTENDERS. I wanted y’all to make it better for the people who still have to work their, but now I just hope you get smacked with lawsuits and lose your business. (:
