Pros
I had a great experience as a summer intern. I was assigned challenging but doable work that got me more interested in the automation industry. I had mentors that were available if I needed help, but the work I did was often mostly on my own or with other interns. They have hired me back on to continue the internship during my winter break.
Cons
Hourly pay was less than I would expect as an engineering intern, but during COVID, was understandable
