Pros
Joonbug is a great company to work for if you are looking for very hands on event experience. The busy season of the job is hard and intense due to the demand, but you are told everything beforehand. Outside of busy season (aka most of the year) is more normal and scheduled. Once you have finished, it is very rewarding. You get to interact with the top people in the industry, work in cities you've never been to and do a lot of events other companies do not offer. There are challenging parts to the job, but what job doesn't have it's challenges? This is a job where you get what you put into it. If you do not care about your work, it shows.
People can say what they want about the CEO, but he is great. It is his name on the line, so yes he can be intense but so is every other CEO in the world, the difference is most people do not get to interact with their CEO in other jobs, so they do not see this side. He has ALWAYS had my back 100%. He cares about his employees and has gone out of his way multiple times when other employers would never think to. If you ask for help, he is there for you even if it's 7am or midnight. It is a smaller company where your voice can be heard and you have a lot of space to be creative and input your ideas. The company culture has been great, coworkers are great and some of my best friends.
It is a great environment to learn and grow, not only as a professional but as a person. Overall, you get what you give to this job. If you work hard and try, you will succeed and have a good time.
Cons
Some of the processes in the execution of events could be refined and more clear, can be overwhelming at first but you get the hang of it quickly
