Pros

Firstup offers a fast-paced environment where you’re constantly learning and growing, which keeps the work engaging and dynamic. There’s strong visibility to the C-suite, giving employees a real sense that their contributions matter and are seen at the highest levels. The company also has a robust recognition program that celebrates high performers twice a year, reinforcing a culture of appreciation. Collaboration is a clear strength—teams work closely together, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Despite being fully remote, there are meaningful opportunities to connect with teammates in person a few times each year. Overall, the culture is both collaborative and fun, making it an enjoyable place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience working at Firstup within the G&A team. The team dynamic is one of the strongest parts—people are supportive, responsive, and easy to collaborate with, which makes day-to-day work feel smooth and low-friction. It’s easy to ask questions, get input, and move things forward. There’s a strong sense that everyone pulls their weight, but also steps in to help when needed. Communication feels natural and consistent rather than overly formal, and leadership is approachable and reinforces a team-first environment. Overall, it’s a group that works well together and creates a genuinely positive atmosphere.

Cons

Priorities can shift as the business evolves, which requires some adaptability. As new initiatives come up or needs change, focus areas can adjust, so staying flexible and organized is important. Changes are generally well communicated, so it feels manageable and part of a growing organization.
