I worked at FactSet full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great business model that continually produces top and bottom-line growth; Progressive thinking leaders in the sense they are not satisfied with the status quo; embraces technology in all workflows; and great office perks like lunch, snacks and refreshments

    Cons

Recent leadership changes have emphasized results only over relationship team building which has significantly reduced collaboration; deteriorating medical and dental benefits as a way to save the Company money; new systems have been implemented at all costs meaning they were rushed and burned people out leading to high turnover; new hires in the manager and above ranks are afraid to dig into the details and are only thinkers and not doers which caused rifts between management and the staff; change to open floor concept greatly reduced communication and meetings

I have been working at FactSet full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Successful company Free lunch prior to Covid Solid business model

    Cons

The culture is toxic! The Finance team once use to be a hidden jewel, the envy of other companies and the place to be. From Senior management down to entry level it was rare to hear complaints. It was fantastic with even better people. What happened? Change of management.!! And the Finance department deteriorated quickly. Look at the turnover! No way to spin it. The very best have left! The camaraderie and the collaboration vanished. There are no solid relationships anymore and no support. You are on your own. And to make matters worse it’s become full corporate with plenty of pressure but without those corporate salaries and bonuses. The work will never end. It’s a shame.
