When you go for the interview they sell you the job like there is no other one on the market like it and they promise you enormous bonuses, but.... -1st week is done by people who don't have any knowledge about buying cars, for ex one guy from there was a former trainer in Poundland before coming as a trainer at webuyanycar! - Working hours : Monday to Friday 09:30 - 19:00, Saturday 08:30 - 18:00, Sunday 09:30 - 17:00 - bare in mind you will work weekends mandatory, and they decide when you will have days off! - they don't tel you that at the interview! - Appointment time : first 3 months, 40 min per appointment, in between 3-6 months 30 min per appointment, after 6 months 20 min per appointment! - When you are on 20 min/appointment, max customers you can see in a day are 20 to 30 - they don't tell you this at the interview! - Be ready for double appointments, 2 customers booked in the same time, same hour - that will mess your whole schedule when they both show in the same time! - f you are no that busy, then you are expected to make loads and loads of prospect calling! - If you are very busy, you are a designate, area buyer expect to go home late or come in earlier because you are expected to finish the paperwork of your purchases before next day opening hours and you are NOT Paid, they call it sacrifice for career! For ex. If you have 10 cars on site by the end of the day that you need to do the paperwork, it can take 1:30H - 2.00H to finish them! - you are not paid for this hours! - if you are an Area Buyer they will not close your branch earlier so you can leave early compare to a person that has it's own branch and lives 5 miles away from the branch, same applies to a Designate Buyer! - so expect to get home very late! - If it's snowing and you can't attend, you call sick, customer doesn't show at the app time, customers canceles the app, you don't buy the car, you can't buy the car as it's not your fault ( various cases ), customers books the app by mistake and canceles or doesn't show, etc... - all this appointments counts against you and will affect your figures by the end of the month in regards to your bonus. - In order to get the bonus you have to go above branch target ( a lot of branches have exaggerated targets, hard to achieve ) and you need to be very accurate when you check vehicles 9 they have a minimum standard ( again exaggerated) ! - if you don't reach non of them or one of them for a few months, they get ride of you! - Be ready for stress, loads of it, Managers with no experience, they will blame the team for not progress, low work ethic, no matter how good you are they can get rid of you at your first mistake and also be ready to rip people off in order to buy cars! - 95% of the branches are POD's, some with no toilet, so you are expected to work and inspect cars no matter how the weather is and there is no cover! - raining, snowing, storm, hurricane - if you get ill to many times, they will get rid of you!
