Pros
- Flexible work environment. - Surrounded by true talent, with experienced individuals to learn from if you're willing to seek them out. - Great pay and benefit packages for employees. - The employee stock option program provides a great way for employees to feel like they are truly owning a piece of nCino's success. - With such rapid growth and entering into international markets, new challenges and experiences present themselves regularly. - Great friendships built amongst teams that extend outside the workplace.
Cons
- Sometimes difficult hours in a fast paced environment. 65+ hour weeks can occur regularly to meet last minute asks or deliver on opportunities that present themselves in a less than ideal fashion. - In some cases, a lack of growth and/or experience amongst management alongside the level of growth nCino has achieved feels tangible. Wilmington, NC is a small town and nCino is a big fish - but the company's growth demands veterans of their trade and/or driven individuals willing to accept they have more to learn. In some cases it feels like the mark is missed. - The nCino Culture is a point of emphasis for the company, but to the point above retaining culture can be difficult with such rapid growth. I think nCino is capable of maintaining it's strong roots in dedication to their employees and customers, innovation, reputation and speed - but there's a real shift that needs to be corrected or I feel it may be lost.
