-Pressured to be in early to have the breakfast despite being told you can use it throughout the day in interviews
-Passive aggressive, sexist and frightened management - will Not say anything directly to your face, but email you everything even if they are sat right next to you, if they do decide to do a face to face talk(once in almost a year), they look as though they are the ones being told off and close to tears (not a manager you can really have any faith in) They also seem to holt females careers within the office, prioritising the promotion of men ahead of female.
-There is one style of management, they only know how to deal with one kind of person and do not take kindly to anyone who questions them about anything, especially when you are correct. They have no clue how to operate in general and if something is out of the norm they are completely bamboozled. No sense of adapt and overcome from them.
-They claim you don’t have to wait for someone above you to move on to be promoted, this is a lie, they have a warped Japanese ranking system that is done on billing to a certain point and then you have to wait for someone else to move on to be promoted/take charge of a team.
-Dishonesty is ripe within the management of the office, often telling one consultant something and then going to gossip to another consultant saying the complete opposite - I have seen higher levels of professionalism within a group of toddlers.
-Lies in job advertisement ie working hours - told you are contracted 8 hours between 8-6, however expected in before 8 and told not to leave until after 6. If you decide to leave at 6(with all work done) you will be met with passive aggressive comments about your plans for the evening and how busy you are. In the words of a manager there on my day of leaving “we don’t want anyone who won’t work atleast 9 hours” essentiallybthey would be better off employing robots ‘yes sir, no sir, 3 bags full sir’
-There is also different working hours for the further education team, they’re allowed to get in at 9 and leave at 6, if secondary are in at 0805 they are considered late and will have no choice but to work until atleast 7.
-There are only certain times of the year you can book holiday - when you do book it (any time of the year) you are questioned as to why you are booking it and what you will be doing, if you choose not to answer due to personal reasons management will continue to ask why you need it and may refuse it.
-Some woman who trolls about the hub screaming at whoever is in there because someone else can’t pack a dishwasher
****Management also come into glass door and leave positive reviews due to the amount of poor ones they have.
