Pros
There are no pros to working for this company. Seems like there may only be some satisfaction on the linguist team but not elsewhere in the company.
Cons
Extremely high turnover rate which, to be fair, was a red flag to me before I signed on. You can see on Linkedin how many employees leave after a few months to a year and some change. My colleagues when I had the misfortune of working here constantly talked offline about hoping to find a better next job. A horribly toxic work environment with extreme micromanagement, childish cliques, and a phony, forced, and manipulative "we're a family" narrative. The micromanagement was due to become outright authoritarian after the acquisition of InVibe by its now parent company, Thread Inc. They were implementing timecards and daily log to itemize exactly what you accomplished during your work day. More huge red flags. Don't even get me started on how mind-numbing the work being conducted here is. My god. You would be more stimulated and satisfied doing literally anything else.
