Pros
The biggest problem at Zoomin.TV is the management. They simply do not know how to manage and are very unprofessional. They whisper behind employees backs without worrying the employees are aware, yell at employees rather than use work appropriate candor, while also yelling at each other in front of employees. As an employee, you never know what to expect in the hostile environment and you feel like you have to walk on egg shells. Most employees at Zoomin.TV are expats, happy to have found a job in media and scared to lose it, since they do not have a lot of alternatives.
Cons
The company absolutely does not show interest in working conditions or how a legal company should be functioning. Dutch law, why stick to it? Hire employees illegally. Delivering employees contract on time, why would you if you can wait several months and make employees just work in the mean time while promising the contract is constantly coming? Why pay for travel expenses when you are convinced that people who are in their right to request those expenses are just not motivated enough to work in the company? Why install an HR department if you have (unequipped) management to arrange that? Arranging a pension for your employees is also out of the question, since they can arrange that themselves from their very poor salary. And being concerned about the the temperature comfort of your employees, since there are windows to open. It can become over 30 degrees in the office in the summer, but employees can just wear thin clothing and well, problem solved. Working overtime is a rule rather than an exception and is not paid, because again, people who are not willing to work overtime are not motivated enough to work in the company.
