Pros

ive been in sales for over 10 years, their marketing team is good because it was able to sell me on their scam.

Cons

Everything! they try to lull you in with promises of making 18-30 dollars an hour, but what they dont tell you is that its nearly impossible to sell a contracting company to contractors. they expect you to sacrifice your personal integrity with their script that is full of lies. its sleazy salesperson tactics and pressure sales. you do all the work the home depot employees do but only the management get paid for it. they even let it slip that some ISP's are hired on with base pay while others arent! there is no room for personal growth in this company. all of their in company prizes only go to their best selling isps and not anybody entry level. the Reviews here on glass door are clearly written by management. When i finally had enough and quit, i politely gave them the reasons why... then a management jerk called me and Argued with me about how great the company is and how im full of crap! this wasnt an attempt to keep me with the company mind you, because they had alredy removed me from their slack application... this was very unprofessional. when i explained to them that all the customer reviews online were poor, he told me they actually hire a 3rd party to write good reviews for them! unbelievable. he proceeded to tell me that i had 1 day to drive to york PA and drop off my materials or i was getting charged 85 dollars for a t-shirt! I actually drove to the bank and closed down my account associated with this company because i could not trust them to not charge me even if i did give them their materials back

Our president made an attempt to reach out to you based on your review to better understand your concerns. Unfortunately, upon introducing himself, you terminated the call by hanging up. We regret that you have a perspective that is in gross contrast to that of all of our employees, as well as the general public. We have been nationally recognized as one of the top Service Providers in the country. In fact, all of our customers receive an independent survey from a neutral and unbiased 3rd party organization. That’s how confident we are in our abilities to perform. Despite having offered you this explanation, you seem to have purposely twisted this into our positive reviews somehow being fabricated. Moreover, we are proud that our personnel do in fact make the money we advertise, despite your assertions to the contrary. And we stand ready to provide evidence of such. Although your time with our company was only for a couple of weeks, please know we sincerely regret that your experience with us was not a more positive one.

Pros

Commission is advanced not paid upon completion of job! As other reviewers have stated. It’s 100% commissioned, as is any real sales role. You can switch your availability week to week to assimilate your schedule. It’s an independent contractor role that includes access to an amazing health care package. Being an independent contractor means I’m able to write off any/all car maintenance and gas on taxes. New laptop, cell phone, desk for my office... the list goes on.

Cons

Didn’t have a location in Florida!!

Pros

Flexible schedule. You get to make your own hours.

Cons

You're only paid if you set an appointment which is then verified. Setting appointments itself can be tricky, and I admit I wasn't very good at it; however, most of the appointments I set ended up not being verified, which meant I wasn't paid for them. Looking at how other employees were doing, this seems to be pretty typical. I was terminated from this job, with no reason given for my termination, shortly after getting out of the hospital following an emergency surgery (which my bosses knew about). My manager didn't even inform me of my termination until a week after I first contacted her about it. Note that the higher-ups at this company are all very chatty and would frequently call me to check in or give advice, which was one of the things I liked about the job; however, when I was terminated I received no word whatsoever until I reached out repeatedly, and was then informed via a brief text message. Losing the job didn't bother me so much as the lack of professionalism and communication regarding my termination did. As the headline states, I was spending more money than I was making at this job, between having to pay for the work apron and the amount of money I spent on transportation costs. Unless you're certain you can succeed at a job that only pays on a commission basis, I don't recommend taking a gamble on this company as you may end up in worse financial shape than you were prior to taking the position.
