Pros

They do offer a M-F schedule with 8-5 hours. They pay for parking and location is nice and convient. You get all the holidays off and earn a good amount of time off.

Cons

The managment team argues and yells at each other. Expect to be cursed at and yelled out by someone on the management team at least once a week. Huge favortism in the Enforcement dept. If the manager doesn't like you then you are not long for the job or she will just ignore your needs and spend time shopping for shoes online instead of helping you.

Pros

Good middle/local management that shows concern for their employees and does everything within their power to be helpful. As long as you treat them well they will return the same to you. The insurance is acceptable. The vacation policy is amazing. Co-workers are often friendly, intelligent, and hardworking people. It's a great way to get experience if you want to work in the legal field. You get to make a difference in the lives of people that really need it. It is also a great way to network - attorneys and future paralegals often get a start here. If you do a great job, treat people well, and help out as often as possible, then you are essentially being given an opportunity to build your brand with acting professionals.

Cons

The pay is comparatively low and there is little to no chance for advancement. If people continuously quit for better opportunities, others have to cover for those who leave, and you constantly have to retrain new people, who also quit before 2-3 months have passed (more often than not), then you're not really saving any money by underpaying. Upper management/corporate does not listen and has a clear lack of understanding and concern for their workers. The case management software and remote desktop is extremely buggy and slow. If turning numbers is important, then you're not really saving money by using bad software.. This is a basic tenet as it relates to production. I will say that some of the reviews I see on here are probably written by people who didn't put the effort in. At least as it pertains to the State of Kansas, their outlook on local/middle management is extremely skewed and the negative personification could not be farther from the truth.
