It’s a trap - Software Developer XGen Ai Employee Review

Chief of product is a salesman. Repeated claims of product oriented nature, in reality this means we build things to close sales. I’ve watched multiple people get very frustrated with compensation, they basically tell you to work free ot to grow into a new role and receive more compensation… but will deny you raises while giving you positive performance evaluations. Gas lighting is in management and hrs go to playbook as well. They refuse to fire people and managers will encourage disgruntled employees to simply stop showing up so they get themselves fired. All around horrible experience, 10/10 would not recommend.
