Pros

Great atmosphere. Wonderful people to work with.

Cons

One of the downsides was not being full-time and only being a temp job.

Pros

Since being purchased by the much larger parent company, the benefits offered are far superior to those previously offered. Vacation time is rather generous from the get-go (about 3 weeks plus sick time, yearly), and most holidays are off and paid. They're not incredibly strict either with sudden unexpected time off for necessary things that just come up in life (doctor visits, family emergencies, etc.).

Cons

Unfortunately, the company is not at all what it once was. Hard work and long hours are not appreciated. Promotions are given to lesser deserving individuals lacking professionalism and scholarly experience. The office environment is very cliquey. There is little room for personal growth, and advancement in salary is very limited (16% increase in salary over 7 years for an exempt employee consistently working 40-60 hours weekly is incredibly low considering industry standards in raises). The 'promotional' seasons are very stressful and demanding. Communication among internal employees, upper management, the parent company, and seasonal employees is extremely poor, and directives are constantly changing so much that seasonal employees and managers cannot keep up with policy changes.. and they're poorly enforced by the regional managers. The company's proprietary time keeping system and payroll methods are incredibly flawed, leading to hundreds (if not thousands) of payroll errors, completely at the fault of the company's failure to implement a reliable system.
