Pros
- Great way to build experience - Good tools for navigating stock and capturing sales - Great co-workers and team energy throughout the region on a store level. - Good discounts within the WWW business.
Cons
- Depending on the regional manager, can be micro-managing. Needs to trust that managers and stores are doing what you hired them to do. This can severely impact morale - KPI Metrics. While these are great tools to analyze business, they shouldn't be a crutch. Again, this mostly falls on the regional manager and their style of management because I saw vastly different approaches between two separate managers. - Benefits were severely lacking and were not conveyed to me properly during the interview and on-boarding process. One of the main contributors to me leaving.
