Pros

Flexibility for many Great benefits Great parking Pretty great people on the "lower" rungs of the ladder

Cons

They have labelled every black person to work there as problematic in some way, only bothered to promote one (passing up another caused her to quit) and still managed to not give her any authority. This place is for the "good blacks" with no opinions/ideas/ambition of their own. Not a place for direct people. AT ALL. Regardless of skin color. If you don't speak passive-aggressive or whisper in back rooms, then you will NOT succeed here until they break you. Extremely high turnover Ineffective/inefficient management Doesn't listen to feedback unless given behind closed doors/over social event to the right person BY the right person Nepotism/hiring via connections Wasteful of money (this is due to employee coddling mostly) Lots of bureaucracy and wheel spinning, little action or results MEETINGS UPON MEETINGS UPON MEETINGS

Pros

none, it was the best employer I've worked for. They're competent and emotionally intelligent/mature which is rare

Pros

Supportive colleagues that I can rely on. Organization is open to change and willing to be flexible. Ability for some autonomy in creating new processes and ways of doing things. Passionate workforce who is dedicated to serving families and communities. Company value of Well-Being is promoted and encouraged to staff.

Cons

Desire for professional growth but not consistent across agency. Teams and departments can feel siloed or disconnected. Loss of office culture when shifting to remote work indefinitely. Inconsistencies in pathways to promotion or compensation conversations. Lack of transparency or communication in some decision-making processes.
