Pros
Pros to this job/role was you get to move up easy and fast, which is a good and bad thing. It is a very fast paced working environment, so you’re never bored and there’s always something to do. Upper management is nice at first, and the response time for these managers is super quick and efficient, I’ll give them that, whether it be by phone call or email. CEO is super understanding, of MOST problems.
Cons
Cons definitely our way the pros. If you’re a store manager, they expect you to throw away your social life and work twelve hours with NO ONE with you, and come in even if you’ve been working for two plus weeks. Day off? What is that?Mind boggling right? And they won’t let you close early, so you’re by yourself from 9:30-9:30. So no wonder stores have high shrink! And even if you’ve been overworked, they don’t care. They expect you to work sixty hour work weeks even though you’re getting paid for forty, absolutely no compensation. Didn’t make day? Close wasn’t perfect? Even though you’ve been understaffed the ENTIRE time you’ve been there? Oh don’t worry about chewing yourself out, even with no employees but yourself, the district trainer always has something to say.
