Pros

There are opportunities for advancement

Cons

There is no work-life balance; Management does not care about staff burn-out; there is little to no communication between team leads and the rest of staff; high turnover; management lacks emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Truthfully, I could never in good faith recommend this workplace to anyone. I am astonished at the lack of competence among senior leadership. I cannot see this company going anywhere with the way that they treat their staff. Do not work here. That is my advice.

Pros

I’ve had a very different experience than some posts here, and I know I’m not an outlier, so wanted to offer up my own experience. I came into Whiteboard with just a few years under my belt and have had remarkable opportunities to take on a lot of responsibility. I’m definitely grateful to work here. The CEO goes out of his way to give team members opportunities to pursue the work they care about. He puts in the time to coach and help the team, and is quick to help when folks have personal issues going on in their lives. That has always stood out to me. It’s true that this company has really high standards and expectations, and maybe that isn’t for everyone. But personally, as an ambitious professional, that’s what I’m looking for and it’s been a place where I've been able to build a meaningful career. Last point: I think it’s notable that Whiteboard is a place where many people have started early in their careers and stay, and grow, for long periods of times. Some have even left and then returned. I think that's pretty unique these days.

Cons

See above; it's all about what you're looking for in a job.
