Pros

salary and nice people and good training

Cons

Travel everyday about 150 miles a day to see only 2-3 patients, no mileage paid to and from the furthest location, not much prescribing, company is mostly concerned about high RAF scoring so they make more money, not much clinical decision making, most NP's were fairly new grads or had only a few years experience, not great concierge service if your patients are over 50 minutes from your home; you tell patients to call you you whenever they need to see you but you live over 50 miles from most patients and you have patients already scheduled for the day, so it would not be convenient to then drive another 100 miles to turn to go in opposite direction for acute sick visit.

Pros

Work from home, amazing office environment when in office, the building throws parties, CEO is hands on a doctor and visits with the teams and tries to know everyone.

Cons

There’s no parking at the building and surrounding parking is $20 a day.

Pros

making a difference is patients' lives by helping them with the complicated medical system is great and it is wonderful to actually get to KNOW people instead of just spending 15 mins with them.

Cons

charting system is fragmented and cumbersome, recent productivity changes thwart the concept of "patients first" because it's becoming a numbers game first. Used to have more control over schedule. Used to feel like a valued employee but more and more feeling like a "body".
