Pros
This is a great engineering practice that you can contribute forever. The product is also so flexible that you can launch any fintech offering that a firm can ever imagine. I really like and respect this team for, - Visionary leadership + great clarity and focus on the problem domain by Founders - Well-architected product (modern APIs, 100% serverless, highly-scalable, SaaS, microservices, component-based design, DevOps, infrastructure as code) - Super helpful developers + always-approachable product team + clever QA team - Well-thought-out engineering and product development processes - Great transparency + flat team culture + work-life balance - So many cross-functional opportunities to improve yourself as a domain expert/all-rounder in tech - Competitive compensation and benefits - 100% Employee retention & satisfaction so far (Not often you get the chance to join a rocket ship this early on - so who wants to leave it.. haha.. ^_^)
Cons
Not much here - some decision-making team members are coming from well-established corporate fintech cultures - so sometimes they take time to adapt to the startup culture. Some first-time entrepreneur mistakes were also visible in the past in terms of team-building and business development. However, everyone is continuously learning and that's very promising for the future.
