Pros
It's a beautiful place full of character, history and lots of different types of people. You also get a Magic Pass that allows you to go to other Merlin attractions which your friends and family are allowed to use. There are staff do's and charity events you can go to and the summer party actually allows your friends and family to come in and enjoy the place as much as you do. It's a constant learning curve in very many ways and a good place to teach you just what hard work is like. Your customer service skills will improve significantly and if you move on to another job, you can really appreciate your new one with whatever it throws at you.
Cons
You will be worked hard with little thanks, the loyal ones are treated worse than the disloyal/useless ones. If you are off sick, they don't have backups in place and others are expected to pick up the slack. When you come back off sick, be prepared to defend yourself. If a customer is rude, harasses you or blatantly ignores the rules set in place, the management will always stick up for the customer and you are more likely to be penalised. HSE would have a field trip - some of the f&b staff know nothing about food hygiene.
