Pros
Nice location in Pasadena and conveniently located walking distance from the gold line. Pleasant walk to work and good restaurants/ places to hang out at lunch/breaks.
Cons
The CEO. The CEO is an extremely verbally abusive and aggressive man. I'm honestly not 100% sure what my title was. I was hired on to help support sales and well as do engineering (learning on the job) and come up with an operational process for the company. CEO never provided clear direction as to whether developing operational process was good and or never really had the time to talk about it (not that I wanted to ever be on a one on one meeting with him due to his short attention span and temperament). I literally sat at work with nothing to do for weeks due to the lack of guidance and or lack of training (no one ever had time)... when I finally got put on a project the CEO got upset that I (the supposed operations person) was put on the project because I was still new... uh, so you just hired me to sit there? CEO comes in at random times and days sometimes very chill wanting to chat with everyone at at other times yelling at everyone for whatever personal problem or problems with his side property business. The CEO will have you do things completely out of scope and wants people to just guess what he's thinking or assumes everyone should think how he thinks and then gets very aggressive border line calls you an idiot when you ask for clarification (he does this to EVERYONE). I do not recommend anyone to work for this company/if offered a position I strongly recommend you keep looking. You'll hate your life when you're working for this company. When I was there there were 3 of us office staff plus our technician and the CEO. The 3 of us were expected to do all jobs of sales, engineering, and operations. All office staff very nice and friendly and everyone feels for each other because we would all get verbally abused sooner or later. After about 3 to 4 months I finally got fed up being afraid to go to work and went in to work to quit one morning. Best day of my life since working at that company. p.s. This was not my experience alone. From what I heard from the other 2 office staff who had been there a few months before me, like 10 other people had my position within a few months time span (extremely high turn over rates). No one really ever gets fired- EVERYBODY QUITS.
