Pros
Schedule is flexible and good discounts (most of the time)
Cons
Where to start, this is directed at the corporate structure more then it is at the store level. You get p@ss poor hours due to how corporate can't seem to find a way separate pharmacy and the retail portion of the store, store hours are determined by how many customers patients/customers exclusively use our pharmacy for prescriptions and if the pharmacy is short staffed they can pilfer the retail portions hours for themselves so they don't go over hours and leave the rest of the store with a skeleton crew to run the day to day operations. The pay is ridiculous, not really competitive at all, they pay minimum wage to start and its almost impossible to get a raise because of the convoluted system of how they determine who gets a raise, spoiler, only one person per district per job title gets a raise yearly and that's determined by a panel of managers and their district manager and they vote on employees by level of accomplishments, this wouldn't be so bad if not just one person per district gets a yearly raise. Store level employees are run ragged because there isn't enough help to get the ever increasing amount of work that needs to get done, we get three deliveries a week and one of these deliveries is a truck that needs to be hand unloaded, most of the time it's 400 plus pieces with only 2 people unloading. Most of the time there is only 3 people at any given time putting deliveries away and that number drops to 1 during the closing shifts. They expand our hours and refuse to give us more to compensate that change, there is way, way, way more to gripe about and i think i ranted enough
