Is this your company?

Very poor organization that seems to have lost its value. - Anonymous employee WINIFRED S. HAYES Employee Review

Pros

The industry is dynamic and the work is interesting. The pay and benefits are not bad. Some of the employees are collaborative.

Cons

The culture has become one of fear which has led to colleagues not supporting one another so much as trying to protect themselves. Management continues to ask employees for more work in less time - so much so that much of the top talent has left. People who had been there for multiple decades have now left. This leaves one to wonder what value there is left in the company. The products and services were a good idea 20 years ago but seem to have become increasingly irrelevant in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.

Pros

The company and its employees have a long-standing commitment to quality work and customer service. The work is meaningful and interesting, and has the potential to impact millions of lives. This is a great organization to start a career and work your way up through the ranks, consequently many employees have been at the company for years. Other advantages include: -- Intelligent, dedicated, and pleasant colleagues -- Telecommuting and some flexibility in schedules -- Collaborative environment -- Good pay and benefits

Cons

Hayes has had its challenges over the last few years due to some changes in the organizational structure. This has led to higher than usual turnover and consequently greater workload, especially in 2015. However, management responded proactively, new hires are in place, workload is now manageable again, and morale has rebounded. The workload can be heavy at times (and where isn't it?), but due to telecommuting and flex schedules, employees can achieve a good work-life balance.
