Pros
Good team atmosphere. Work hard and play hard
Cons
Very poor communication between departments. Annual business update but minimal communication on company progress throughout the year Group of employees who have been in the business since day one who appear to be bullet proof and get away with practices that others would be challenged for. Like many businesses COVID-19 has presented challenges and circa 80% of staff Including myself were put on Furlough from 1/4/2020. Communication with and support for those on Furlough was almost non existent other than standard generic emails from HR informing those on Furlough of a further extension There was no communication to keep those on Furlough engaged in the business or reassured that there was a future for us. Unfortunately for some of us the journey ended with redundancy But for others, they remain on Furlough with no clear communication as to when they will return to work or indeed if they will. This is no way to retain staff loyalty. The company makes a big thing about Following a Mum and Dad principle and always considering if the service or actions you take are ones you would be happy to provide your mum and dad. Based on this principle and the way those on Furlough were forgotten I pitty the mums and dads of the Wealth at work Directors
