Pros
I went home with some good money every night.
Cons
I was part of the first wave of workers. They were literally finishing up the building while they were training us. But after maybe 8 months i asked to be a server. I got a lot of "yeah we will see" but continued to see new people hired as servers while i was busting my butt cleaning tables, tubs, bringing out food, and expediting. Eventually I asked another manager if I could be a server and he said "yeah sure if you find a replacement" So i did, I brought a friend in for an interview and he had prior work experience in the area and the interview went well. Well he wasn't hired, and no one talked to me about being a server again. So i quit. I didn't feel appreciated at all, having covered many shifts that were needed, being there from the start, and being a really good worker while new servers would complain about making 100 bucks a night i worked my butt off to hear them complain while throwing a trash filled plate into the 35lb tub i was carrying full of dishes.
