Pros

- interesting topics - diverse client base - travel opportunities - holidays - office This company has a lot of potential. It engages with stimulating topics and hires clever people.

Cons

However, the company self selects into type A personalities (aggressive, assertive, fast paced etc.). Management Board makes decisions in a discursive fashion where one aggressive Type A individual echoes and reaffirms the views of another Type A individual. If you are aggressive, outspoken, cut-throat, and "do what it takes" at all costs, you will chime with the tribe, and thrive. If you are soft-spoken, deep-thinking and sensitive (e.g. Type B) then you might find yourself being called a "naval gazer", "too relaxed" etc. Obviously this comes at a huge cost in terms of quality of output and interaction.

In process of integrating into a very large consulting company as part of acquisition. Culture and ways of work may change but uncertain now.

Pros

Fantastic people and work culture. They are thought leaders in environmental economics and policy. Was given independent tasks and always given a helping hand.

Cons

Office itself was a little basic. Would be better to bring your own laptop in from home.
