Pros

I can honestly say the CEO and COO here set a completely different tone. You can tell they care about doing right by their team, not just the bottom line. They also pay really well and I believe (dont quote me) the highest in the industry.... not the kind where you’re told you’re lucky just to have a job. It makes a huge difference feeling valued in both words and paycheck. The vibe overall is supportive and real. You’re trusted to do your job, encouraged to grow, and never made to feel small for asking questions or needing help.

Cons

It’s also not the kind of place where you can just coast. Expectations are fair, but they’re real. If you want a totally low-effort job, this probably isn’t it.

Pros

VA USA provided the flexibility I needed without question, making it easy to work around my other life balance needs. My supervisor and each colleague made the time with them wonderful, everyone is very kind and helpful. The hiring process was also very quick, so if you apply be prepared that it can go rapidly!

Cons

The only real con I could speak to is that it may take time to get up to the amount of hours you're needing. It didn't take long to get several clients, but just be prepared that you don't start out at the hours you need from day one.

Pros

Remote work, making friends with other admins.

Cons

My experience working with Virtual Assist USA was disappointing and, at times, frustrating. While the company may present itself as flexible and supportive, my experience did not reflect that. The pay was quite low compared to the expectations and workload. It was difficult to earn a stable income, especially since hours were not guaranteed. There were periods where I struggled to get enough assignments to make a decent living, which made financial stability nearly impossible. That said, when I decided to resign, I experienced what I perceived as a dismissive, negative tone from a member of senior leadership, which was especially concerning given their role in the organization. Even though I provided a full two weeks’ notice with the intention of wrapping up my work responsibly & transitioning my tasks, I was removed from my client assignment before I could complete that transition, which felt like retaliation. I didn’t feel supported or protected as an employee of VAUSA. I constantly asked for a new client when my current client’s behavior became severely problematic & uncomfortable. I raised these concerns with management and requested to be reassigned, but no alternative client was provided. This left me feeling that my situation wasn’t taken seriously. Overall, this role may work for someone looking for occasional, supplemental income, but in my experience, this was not a reliable income or a supportive work environment.
