Pros

Triage team are lovely and I really look after your safety. The clinical coaches are very helpful.

Cons

Not sure where to even start. The pay is horrendous, management are unfortunately the most horrific people I have ever worked for, clinical standards are very low and new grads are sent out on their own and are pressured to perform procedures on their own that they are not prepared for, evidence based veterinary medicine is not practiced, no CPD budget. Took a massive toll on my mental health and there is an incredibly high staff turnover. Management are bullies and are extremely patronising.

Pros

The staff room is nicer than some I've encountered and the building is somewhat impressive. Some good news equipment.

Cons

Lack of respect to hardworking staff. All cases accepted even when you are inundated with critical patients, in theatre and have no staff to see them. As there is no input from staff on the floor of cases coming down, animals are put at risk and patient welfare is compromised. Nurses rarely had a designated break. Once only got 15 minutes in a 5, fifteen hours nightshifts to rest. You are asked to be on call to cover days when locums don't turn up for no extra payment. Almost all nurses want night shifts so the rota is not as flexible as it appears, they want you to work days, nights and twilights. Days are not very well paid so everyone wants the nights. You are expected to be available to work 4/6 weekends. You have to work almost all public holidays. The accommodation provided is tiny and also incredibly hot in summer so it's hard to sleep there. There are a few lovely members of staff but due to the massive turnover of all clinical and office staff it is very hard on them. I was constantly helping train new staff. Management really do not care about you, or your input on how things could be made more efficient, more safe, they have their own ideas and take alot of feedback pretty badly. I would strongly advise against working for these people, they will work you to the bone and your mental/physical health could really suffer. It's probably the least respect I have ever felt from an employer and I worked incredibly hard.
