Pros
From my perspective as a Service Designer in a project: Veriteer is in the forefront of steering the practice of Service Design into a direction that is much needed in our field. A direction that means to see Service Design as a practice to help different sectors become more customer centric, but not only on the premisses of Service Design. Instead Veriteer uses the field of Service Design to see and adjust to what is needed for various clients and their organisations. I was a part of using Service Design in the ongoing transformation of a team going from being product centric to service centric for a client in the mobility sector. Where I'm sure Business and Organisational Designers will be added to the team in the near future. So great opportunities if you are a designer looking to work with big clients and challenges! From a culture perspective: Veriteer has the best people who are hardworking individuals who I have learned a lot from. The culture is warm, full of humour and welcoming. The benefits are also awesome, so as a potential employee you will have enough means to take care of you learning and wellbeing.
Cons
No cons, but the reality in a consultancy is that you in some projects will have to work alone with the client. And I was in a place in my career where I wanted to work in a team with my colleagues and have close contact with my teammates (so I'm going in-house). But if you are in place in your career where you want to work with big clients and big challenges while steering the ship for your field , Veriteer is the place to go!
