Pros
Social life with the job
Opportunity to develop communication skills
Cons
Long hours
Commission only, not worth it for the amount of hours worked
Roadtrips are self funded (flights, car hire, petrol, accommodation) so not always even breaking even . They are also exhausting - sites are often booked 2 hours away from accommodation
Told you are independent contracts who need an ABN - if you are investigated by the ATO they will take this off of you as you are not truly self employed.
Are often shouted at by the Managing Director when sales targets are being hit
You pay in to a bond (total of $1500) to cover rejected sales, but you will not get this back when you leave and are never given proof of these supposed rejected sales
Team nights and socialising outside of work is only to retain you - you are not their friend and once you leave the business they do not want you to socialise with current employees ("independent contractors")
