Overworked and underpaid - Anonymous employee United Hardware Employee Review

While your post is quite old, we are just starting to work with Glassdoor and wanted to respond to your review. I first of all want to thank you for recognizing our hard working employees that we have at United Hardware. At the time of your review we had just gone ‘live’ with a new ERP system which ultimately had a very successful system launch, with little to no business disruption. We couldn’t have done it without those hardworking employees that worked directly on the project as well as those who took on additional work outside of the project. It is no secret this was not an easy time but we got through like many good companies due to the commitment of our employees. In regards to morale, this is something that we are definitely in-tune to and are making some progress. This encompasses all employees and lots of dynamics and is never an easy thing to change. As we come to work every day, we all have the ability to approach the challenges of the day the way that we choose. We hope that employees take a positive, helpful, and collaborative approach to their day knowing that positivity and a smile are infectious. We hold our dealers/owners in very high regard and want them to be successful retailers. Our board of directors is an elected board that does hold the management staff at United Hardware accountable for servicing both member and non-member dealers. The board as well as management staff relies and counts on our dedicated employees to do their best every day to provide this service. There will always be challenges but as long as we all work together, we can overcome them.
