Pros

Apart from upper management the people are nice. Benefits are good with generous time off if you can take it.

Cons

Management is too too heavy. Lack of diversity in upper management. The entire C-suite consists of old white males that need to retire.

We appreciate your feedback. At UniPro, we welcome comments and suggestions for improvement. While everyone’s experience is always unique to the individual, it is important to note that, as a cooperative, we constantly strive to create a professional, creative, satisfying environment for our employees, colleagues, and partners. The pandemic led to extremely challenging times for our industry as a whole. During that time, we have used every opportunity at our disposal to ensure our employees were protected, both financially and personally, and have positively responded to the changing nature of conducting business during quarantine. Our approach to hiring and grooming our employees is to select the most qualified individuals to meet the needs of the job. We are proud to include a wide array of professionals on our Executive team, Board of Directors, and Steering Committee members, each of which represents a diverse cross-section of foodservice professionals.

Pros

Hosting several luncheons. Hybrid work schedule.

Cons

No room for growth. Management is not receptive to change or taking suggestions. Uses archaic platforms, i.e AS/400 Senior management lacks diversity. Pay is lackluster compared to similar roles in foodservice. Certain members of senior management lacks communication skills Weaponizes pointless online trainings as means for development consideration.
