Ditto to the ‘Come on, really?’ post - Anonymous employee US Green Building Council Employee Review

I have been watching these reviews, sympathetic to the frustrations expressed by current and former coworkers. I won’t repeat details and feelings, but the 1 & 2 star reviews are reflective of the employees of USGBC. I have little faith that USGBC will be around in 2 years on it’s current path. That is really unfortunate given the good work we could and should be doing. I’m not sure there is a single employee (aside from senior leadership) that is not actively looking for work. Staff likes what this organization once was and shows up to work on the hope that we could be that organization again. But one by one staff is departing, unable to keep an optimistic view of USGBC’s future. The recent attempts to skew the reviews and rating on this site is a perfect example of how disconnected leadership is from the rest of the staff, and reflective of their leadership approach. Instead of listening to employees, leadership’s instinct is to ignore them and falsely portray the organization as one that is strong. Employees deserve better.
