Pros
My direct team and direct supervisor is great. Due to our disappointment and frustration with management and the CEO, it has formed a "we're all in this together" atmosphere. If we weren't able to sit and chit chat over coffee about the company issues, I probably would have left a long time ago.
Cons
I've been with this company for over 10 years now and after checking Glass Door recently I could no longer bite my tongue. It's well known in the company that Mahesh, the CEO, is someone to stay away from, and to never get on his radar. However after seeing 5, 5 star reviews written in about a week, after many negative reviews spread out over time, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the CEO/upper management/HR directed positive reviews to be written to help offset the negative ones. It's incredibly frustrating that the company's solution to negative reviews is not to improve the work environment for employees, but to just try and flood the website with positive reviews. Upper management/the CEO doesn't care about it's employees, company culture, etc, at all. They do things to suggest they do, but it's all for show. I've heard of promotions given so the company could advertise that there's mobility and rewards for hard work. What they don't mention is that raises aren't given for these promotions. What kind of promotion is that? I know ex-employees who quit just because they couldn't take it anymore. it's has to be pretty bad for that to happen. It's very disappointing that this company is filled with employees who "just work here", and upper management/the CEO doesn't care about improving it. It reminds me of the accounting firm in the Broadway show The Producers where everyone just works, works, works with their head down, living in fear that at any moment the CEO may notice you and make your life extremely difficult.
