Pros
Leadership expected that sales people be entrepreneurs. If a project, market, or opportunity made fiscal sense, you were given the freedom to pursue & develop it. Decisions were generally made quickly as to whether a project made sense.
Cons
There wasn't a lot of clear direction as to what types of projects to pursue, as UFP focuses on custom solutions. You may feel like an outsider if you aren't part of the "in" product line. They may have changed the comp plan, but when I was there commissions were very heavily weighted on new account development, rather than exploiting existing accounts. Limited opportunity for career growth.
