Pros
Most of the employees (especially in Europe) are very good at using up all of their vacation time.
Cons
They once had a sizable team of capable and ambitious people in the US, but they systematically fired them all, never replaced them, and never let any of the remaining folks become a part of any important higher-level business or strategy discussions. What do Americans know about running a business in America anyway? Some were actually scolded and lectured for (gasp!) talking to potential clients and trying to develop business and connections. How many adjectives can I use to describe the upper management of this company? Arrogant. Ignorant. Stubborn. Dishonest. Mistrustful. Delusional. Snide. Childish. Rude. Prejudiced. The list goes on. There is a total (and almost comedic) over-confidence in the quality of their products and services, many of which are not up to US standards and cannot compete here in their current form. The local management is handcuffed and micro managed from across the world (poorly) and any feedback or advice is either ignored or taken very lightly by the headquarters... They actually get offended when they are told that that their glorious and infallible products and data are actually really not that good.. It's a sad pathetic denial they seem to have, actually. The head office works painfully slow (remember, they are good at taking vacations) and they shoot themselves in the foot by responding slowly to potential clients and demanding ridiculously high prices for their services.
