Flexible hours and choice of subjects to tutor - Tutor Tutero Employee Review

- Good money for students - Online so very convenient - Good pay and experience - You can set your own rate on how much you charge - Flexible with the subjects available. For example, you can teach stuff from computer science, english, science. maths, history, legal studies, information technology. - Can also teach from different states. I'm in Victoria but have been teaching students in Queensland and NSW. - Management (Account managers and support) is fast, and extremely helpful. Overall great company to work at!

Semi-con: - Does take large amount of money (You start with 50% of what you earn eg. if you charge $60 you can only get ~$30.). However, you can increase this by being at the company for months to around earning 55% onwards... etc.).

As a full time uni student who received a high ATAR, online tutoring seemed like the perfect job for me. Unfortunately, before I joined Tutero, I had very little experience in getting my own students and I also did not know how to online tutoring such I had only done in-person tutoring before. However, I then discovered Tutero and they have been absolutely amazing! Tutero is fantastic company to work for and they really take the hassle out of tutoring. At Tutero, they handle out of the behind the scenes things such as finding students and organising payments, which means that you have more time to focus on exactly tutoring. All of the staff are super supportive and really ensure a positive work experience. Overall, Tutero is a fantastic company to work for and really makes tutoring fun.

The only major con is that sometimes there can be poor communication between the tutor, parents and learning advisor at Tutero, but any issues are quickly and effectively resolved.
