Pros
I love this company. I've been here for almost a year and things just keep getting better. It's a startup, so the environment is fast paced and everybody wears a lot of hats, but with that comes a tremendous opportunity.
The leadership team really cares and that's reflected in our compensation and benefits: extremely competitive.
You can tell the team gets along really well because every meeting has catch-up time where we just talk to each other about life. People enjoying spending time with one another.
The product poses a unique opportunity to 1) have a huge positive impact on the software industry and 2) be a part of a team that changes the paradigm of trust in software.
The company provides free lunch with DoorDash every Friday!
We're well-funded and stable, so there's a ton of positive momentum with the company and it's an exciting thing to be a part of.
Cons
There's a lot to do and it can be overwhelming, but that's the case at any startup. It's also a pro because we get to be the authors of our own destiny. You're getting in on the ground floor, so there's a lot to do but it's important, foundational work that's making a huge impact on the company.
Since it's a startup pretty much all of us share certain responsibilities when it comes to housekeeping: things like documentation, hiring, etc. are all a team effort. To some people this is a con but to me it's a pro because I get to be a bigger part of the organization and it gives me the chance to provide direct feedback and updates to the organization.
