Pros

Good people that I genuinely enjoyed working with.

Cons

Working in the product department at this company was exhausting. Constant outsourcing to 3rd party companies for product discovery that should have been done by the people they chose to hire. Not that it mattered because they never used anything they found through the 3rd party agencies anyway. Complete absence of understanding about who their customer is and what their customer wants. Inevitably I expect this company will fail. Executive leadership is a complete mess. Constant, desperate pivoting into totally different directions. No strategy whatsoever. The new CEO doesn't like when you ask too many questions.

Great Benefits & Remote Work

Cons

No matter how hard you work, there’s no recognition or pay increase. I wouldn’t recommend using the open-door policy if you have concerns about a manager. I raised an ongoing issue and ended up being written up based on claims that I wasn’t completing my work, even though I was following instructions. When layoffs happened, I was unfortunately among the first to be let go. It felt like a real slap in the face after all the time and commitment I gave to the company.
